Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play competitive team hero shooter, which pits teams of 5 or 6 (mode dependent) against each other to complete a range of map-based objectives. With characters divided into three main roles (Tank, Damage, Support) teams are challenged to find suitable configurations of teams utilising all three aspects and master teamwork to attain victory.
Overwatch 2 has a high degree of player customisation, with skins, emotes, icons and other unlockables frequently rewarded through play. It also includes a range of fun modes and variations to have fun with each season.
Overwatch 2 is one of the world's premier esports, with many leagues and structures supporting the game globally, including educational and collegiate leagues, and is constantly updated with new content and experiences. |
