Sheriff of Nottingham
Description | Sheriff of Nottingham is a bluffing and negotiation game for 3-5 players. Players alternate between the role of merchants trying bring in goods to the markets of medieval Nottingham, or playing as the Sheriff of Nottingham, who's responsibility lies with stopping the import of contraband items.
Players may choose to lie about what items they are bringing in and reap the benefits, but if the Sheriff calls them on their lie, hefty fines must be paid. However, the sheriff isn't above taking a bribe, and adept players may be able to negotiate their way past the Sheriff for a fair price.
Sheriff of Nottingham is a fairly simple game to learn and fun learning environment for students to practice negotiation, social and diplomacy skills, while also making use of empathy, numeracy and a range of other beneficial learning areas.
