The Quacks of Quedlinburg

Description
The Quacks of Quedlinburg is a "push your luck" style bag building game for 2-5 players. Each round players will brew potions (while trying not to accidentally explode!)then use the money generated from that potion to buy additional ingredients to add to their bag for the next round. As the game progresses, players add more and more assorted ingredients with special abilities to their bag, making the ability to craft more valuable potions easier. Due to the random nature of ingredients being pulled blindly from the bag, players must use probability, focus and attention and data analysis skills to weigh up the risk and reward factors of a bigger, better potion vs the risk of having the entire pot explode and losing progress for that round. The rules are straight forward and the fun of exploding adds a level of tension and excitement for everyone at the table. The game is fun for adults and children alike and comes with alternative herbs and scenarios to mix up the variation and provide replay value. Recommended age: 8+ Average game time: 30-45 minutes depending on the number of players.
