Everdell

Description
Everdell is a worker placement tableau building board game for 2-5 players, in which players must spend a year building a town in the fictional critter inhabited world of Everdell. Players take turns assigning workers to collect berries, pebbles, twigs and other items to construct buildings and recruit critters to their towns. The strategy of Everdell revolves around forward planning and choosing the right actions to take at the right time, while observing what strategies your opponents are doing to either inhibit their best path forward, or optimise your own. The artwork is exceptionally cute and engaging, and while the rules can be a bit meaty to begin with, the game is rather straightforward to play once everyone understand what to do.
