Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the latest (as of 2024) game in the immensely popular, long running, Call of Duty series. It is a first person shooter known for fast, arcadey gameplay, which is easy to pick up and play due to its forgiving recoil and fast paced action that puts players right back into the action if they die to another player.
The game has a free-to-play companion mode called “Warzone” which is a hugely popular Battle Royale mode akin to PUBG: Battlegrounds using Call of Duty’s gameplay mechanics, guns and systems.
Call of Duty is consistently one of the most played games in the world and has a strong esports scene especially in North America, including for collegiate and high-school teams and leagues. |
