Apex Legends is a free-to-play first person shooter battle royale game that blends elements from the hero shooter genre to create a unique experience.
Similar to other battle royale games, players enter a map with the goal of being the last team standing, and must explore, loot, fight and survive over matches lasting roughly 30 minutes. Similarly to other games in the genre Apex Legends is a great tool for practicing communication, teamwork and coordination, as well as forward planning and strategic thinking. Thanks to the dynamic gameplay where no match is ever the same as the previous one, the game also promotes practice of speed of thought and group decisions under pressure.
Apex Legends also features a pioneering and intuitive visual communication system which allows players to strategies and communicate non-verbally to good effect effortlessly.
A mobile version of the game also exists and is available on iOS and Android devices. |
