Teamfight Tactics
Description | Platforms: PC, iOS, Android
Publisher: Riot Games
Year of release: 2019
Teamfight Tactics is a strategy auto battler game that spun off from League of Legends, using many of the same characters and settings. It pits 8 players against each other in a series of 1v1 matches where fights take place automatically.
The key to winning teamfight tactics is about strategy and decision making, as dexterity is not a requirement, due to the battles being automated. The game has various underlying mechanics which involve elements of numeracy and economics, data and opponent analysis, forward planning and some luck. Games are relatively short and usually completed in around 30 minutes, making fast sessions possible. There is also a turbo mode for even shorter games.
Teamfight tactics is an ideal game for the thoughtful gamer who may be less attuned to fast paced action games. |
